"I Wish It Had Happened to Me": Joselu on Carvajal's Injury

6 October 2024 10:08

Former Real Madrid forward Joselu has commented on the injury sustained by defender Dani Carvajal.

Carvajal was injured in the ninth round of La Liga against Villarreal, in which Real Madrid secured a 2-0 win.

"I'm writing this through tears, wishing it had happened to me. Now there is a road ahead, which I know you will navigate with the same dignity as always. Always with you," Joselu wrote on social media.

On October 6th, Carvajal announced that he had torn his anterior cruciate ligament.

This season, the defender has played in 11 matches across all competitions for Real Madrid, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
