Juventus eyes Barcelona defender following Todibo transfer setback

Juventus is considering a move for a Barcelona defender following the collapse of the transfer for Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice.

As reported by Football Italia citing Corriere dello Sport, the Turin club is looking at Clément Lenglet as a potential replacement for Todibo, who was confirmed today as West Ham's latest signing on loan from Nice with an obligation to buy. The Bianconeri are also interested in Josip Šutalo from Ajax, Jakub Kiwior from Arsenal, and Maxence Lacroix from Wolfsburg.

It is worth noting that Juventus was close to acquiring Jean-Clair Todibo, but West Ham successfully intercepted the dea.

Clément Lenglet has played for Barcelona since 2018. Last season, he was on loan at Aston Villa, where the 29-year-old French defender made 25 appearances, contributing one assist.

Lenglet’s contract with Barcelona extends until the summer of 2026, with Transfermarkt valuing the player at €10 million.
