Lampard: "I respect Messi and Ronaldo equally. It's unfair to rank one above the other"

Former Chelsea midfielder and manager Frank Lampard has shared his thoughts on the renowned footballers Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

"I've faced both players on the pitch, mostly Cristiano when he was at Manchester United. I've also come up against Messi several times while he was at Barcelona. In terms of individual achievements and talent, I consider Messi the greatest footballer of all time. However, Cristiano is impressive for how he has built himself, with his goals, his impact on the game, and his continued dedication. I respect both of them equally. Ranking one above the other would be unfair. It's been an honour for me to play against such outstanding footballers," Lampard told TNT Sports México.

Previously, Argentina's President Javier Milei has called Inter Miami striker Lionel Messi the greatest footballer of all time.
