Liverpool is working on contract extensions for Konaté and Quansah
Liverpool is actively working to extend the contracts of two players—Ibrahima Konaté and Jarell Quansah.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the Merseysiders have already initiated discussions with Konaté about a new agreement, viewing the defender as one of the team's key assets. Positive progress in negotiations is anticipated, as Ibrahima has expressed satisfaction with his time at Liverpool.
Moreover, Romano reports that Liverpool is close to finalizing a contract extension with Jarell Quansah. A new deal offering a higher salary is already prepared, and the defender has indicated his willingness to remain with the club.
In the current season, Konaté has featured in nine matches for Liverpool, scoring two goals and providing one assist. Quansah has played two matches, yet has not recorded any goal contributions.
