Manchester United Draws 3-3 with Porto in Europa League Thriller

The second round of the 2024/2025 UEFA Europa League group stage saw Manchester United play out an exciting 3-3 draw against Portuguese side Porto. The match took place at the Estádio do Dragão in Porto, Portugal.

The scoring began early, with Manchester United's Marcus Rashford finding the back of the net in the 7th minute. Just 13 minutes later, Rasmus Højlund doubled United's lead. Porto responded quickly, with Pepe reducing the deficit in the 27th minute. 

By the 34th minute, Samu Omorodion had equalized for Porto. He struck again early in the second half, scoring in the 50th minute to give the home side the lead. However, Manchester United's fortunes took a further hit when Bruno Fernandes was sent off in the 81st minute, marking his second consecutive red card.

Despite being down to ten men, Manchester United managed to equalize in stoppage time, with Harry Maguire scoring a crucial goal in the 91st minute, securing a hard-fought 3-3 draw.

The result leaves both teams in a competitive position as the group stage continues.
