Manchester United is close to signing a new contract with 19-year-old midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, according to the Manchester Evening News.
As the source reports, the Red Devils are keen to keep Mainoo in their squad because they view him as an important player for the team's future development. Although his contract was already extended in February 2023 to last until the end of the 2026/2027 season, the club's management wants to reward Mainoo for his progress.
