"Masters of the dark arts": Akanji criticises Arsenal for time-wasting
Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji has voiced his displeasure with Arsenal's tactics during their Premier League clash in the fifth round, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
"Whenever we play against them, they seek out drama—they throw everything into duels, defend with their whole team in the box, and then try to score from set pieces.
I don't think there's anyone in Europe who masters these dark arts as well as they do. Yes, they are the masters of the dark arts, but in the end, we always win the title, and I don't think this year will be any different," the Daily Mail quotes Akanji as saying.
The Citizens have accumulated 13 points, maintaining their position at the top of the Premier League table.
