Mazraoui Explains Decision to Move from Bayern Munich to Manchester United
Moroccan defender Noussair Mazraoui has shed light on his decision to transfer to Manchester United from Bayern Munich.
"I needed another step after Bayern. I felt ok there but I had a feeling I could feel more comfortable somewhere else. Manchester United came in. I don't think I have to explain why I go to such a club', Mazraoui said, as quoted by journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on social media.
Manchester United acquired the 26-year-old defender from Bayern Munich this past summer for €15 million. The player signed a contract with the English club until June 2028. This season, the Moroccan has registered one assist in six matches for the Red Devils.
Transfermarkt currently values the player at €30 million.
