Mbappé sets new negative record in match against Barcelona

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé set a new negative record during the 11th round of the Spanish La Liga match against Barcelona, which ended in a 0-4 defeat. Throughout the match, the French striker was caught offside eight times.

This makes the Madrid forward the first player to be caught offside more than seven times in a single match within Europe's top five leagues since the start of the 2017/18 season. 

Furthermore, two of Mbappé's goals were disallowed during the game. 

In the current season, the Frenchman has played 15 matches for Real Madrid, scoring eight goals and providing two assists.
