McGregor: "I will fight in 2025. Two fights are planned"
Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor has announced that he will have two bouts next year.
"I will fight in 2025. There are two fights planned. What happens after that? I don't know. I am the most popular fighter in the world right now. I would like to fight Michael Chandler," McGregor told Championship Rounds.
At the end of June, McGregor was slated to face American Michael Chandler at UFC 303, but the fight was cancelled due to a toe injury the Irishman sustained. McGregor has not competed under MMA rules since the summer of 2021, when he lost to Dustin Poirier and suffered a broken leg.
