Militão tears ACL and set for surgery

9 November 2024 17:09

Real Madrid defender Éder Militão suffered a torn ACL with damage to both menisci in his right knee during the 4-0 La Liga win over Osasuna.

The club's press office announced that Militão will undergo surgery in the coming days.

This is Militão’s second ACL injury, having first torn it in August 2023, causing him to miss nearly the entire 2023/24 season.

In the same match, winger Rodrygo Goes also sustained an injury, though the extent of his condition has yet to be determined.
