Mourinho could take over at Everton

Everton's new owner, Dan Friedkin is reportedly considering Portuguese coach José Mourinho, currently managing Fenerbahçe, as a potential new head coach for the Liverpool-based club, according to Football Insider.

Sources suggest Friedkin does not view the current Everton manager, Sean Dyche, as the right fit for the role. Dyche's contract, which expires at the end of this season, is not expected to be renewed.

Friedkin, an American businessman who also owns AS Roma, is familiar with Mourinho’s coaching methods, as the Portuguese manager led the Italian side between 2021 and 2024.
