Neymar a year on from injury could play for Al-Hilal
Brazilian striker Al-Hilal Neymar may play for the Saudi team in the Asian Champions League match against Al Ain on October 21, reports ESPN Brazil.
The 32-year-old has not been on the field since last October due to a severe knee ligament injury.
Neymar started training with Al-Hilal at the end of September. The final decision on the return of the player on the field will be made by the head coach of the team Jorge Jesus. For this he will need the approval of Brazilian national team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar, who conducted Neymar surgery.
The Brazilian Football Confederation, in turn, expects that Neymar will be able to take part in the November matches of qualifying for the World Cup-2026 against Venezuela and Uruguay.
