Pique spoke out about breaking up with Shakira
Ex-Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has spoken out about parting with singer Shakira.
"Many people don't tell what really happened. I can't control it, but the best thing is that now I'm surrounded by my loved ones, my family, my friends, people who really know me, know what kind of person I am, and it gives me peace of mind. I understand that everyone has their own point of view. A lot of people who don't know me are making assumptions. We have freedom of speech," Pique told CNN.
Shakira and Pique broke up in the summer of 2022 after 12 years of relationship.
