Pjanić described Moscow as one of the safest cities in the world ahead of signing a contract with CSKA
Miralem Pjanić has described Moscow as one of the safest cities in the world ahead of signing a contract with CSKA, according to Mash.
According to the source, the 34-year-old Bosnian player opted against personal security in Russia, whereas he frequently used security detail while at Barcelona. Furthermore, it has been reported that Pjanić is relocating his entire family from Dubai to Moscow. The midfielder has requested an apartment near a school to ensure his son can study comfortably.
On September 25, the former Juventus and Barcelona player arrived in Moscow and donned a CSKA scarf.
On September 19, Legalbet was the first to report CSKA's interest in Pjanić. Since 2022, he had been playing for Sharjah in the United Arаb Emirates, where he made 61 appearances, scoring five goals and providing 16 assists.
From 2011 to 2016, Pjanić played for AS Roma before moving to Juventus for €32 million. During his time with the Turin club, he won four Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia trophies, and one Supercoppa Italiana. In September 2020, the midfielder became a Barcelona player, with the club paying €60 million for his transfer. However, Pjanić managed to make only 30 appearances for the Blaugrana without contributing any goals or assists.
