Premier League delays introduction of semi-automated offside technology until winter
The Premier League has postponed the introduction of the semi-automated offside detection system.
According to journalist Kaveh Solhekol on social media, the Premier League will only implement the system once they are "completely satisfied" with its performance.
Initially, the technology was expected to be introduced in October or November. The system is designed to offer quicker and more consistent placement of virtual offside lines based on optical player tracking, along with enhanced broadcast graphics.
