Raphaël Varane has retired from football at the age of 31

Defender Raphael Varane has announced his retirement from football at the age of 31, according to Relevo.

This summer, the former player for Real Madrid, Manchester United, and the French national team made the move to Italian club Como. However, in his very first friendly match, he sustained a serious injury, leading him to the decision to end his career.

Varane is a four-time Champions League winner and a World Cup champion with the French national team. Over the course of his career, he amassed a total of 22 trophies, underscoring his significant achievements at both club and international levels.
