According to Spanish media, the club took down an image featuring Mbappé from a group promotional photograph. Teammate Jude Bellingham had initially shared the post with Mbappé in the background, but the image was later replaced.
On October 15, Swedish police announced that they suspect the French player of raping a woman in central Stockholm. Mbappé is under investigation as a "justified suspect" in a case of sexual harassment. The forward has dismissed the allegations as "fake news," claiming it is a provocation by PSG.
