Rivaldo: "Yamal is Already at the Level of Vinícius and Mbappé"
Former Barcelona midfielder Rivaldo has hailed Lamine Yamal as a standout talent.
"He's an incredible player. I admire him because, despite his youth, he has the right mentality. But his level is already very, very high. I believe he’s already on par with Mbappé and Vinícius. And judging by his character, I think he still has more to show. If you add his victory at the European Championship, it makes him a special player for the future. I am convinced of that," Rivaldo told Marca.
In the 2024/25 season, Yamal has featured in ten matches across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing five assists. The 17-year-old forward, whose current contract with Barcelona runs until 2026, was recently named La Liga’s Player of the Month for September.
