Ronaldo's goal secured a victory for Portugal over Poland in the Nations League match
The match of the third round of League A, Group 1 of the UEFA Nations League between Poland and Portugal has concluded. The game took place at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland.
The Portuguese national team emerged victorious, finishing the match with a 3-1 scoreline.
Portugal's Bernardo Silva opened the scoring in the 26th minute, and then forward Cristiano Ronaldo doubled the visitors' lead in the 37th minute following an assist from Rafael Leao. An own goal further extended Portugal's lead against Poland in the 88th minute.
Along with these teams, Croatia and Scotland also compete in Group 1 of League A.
The previous UEFA Nations League champion was Spain, which won the final against Croatia on penalties with a score of 0-0 (5-4).
