Salah's future could lie with Real Madrid

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah might be on the verge of continuing his career with Real Madrid.

According to FourFourTwo, the Madrid club is keen on signing the 32-year-old winger, who is expected to become a free agent next summer. While there have been links to a possible move to Saudi Arabia, where Salah could become a marquee player in the local league, the Egyptian star is determined to remain in Europe.

Earlier reports suggested that Paris Saint-Germain is leading the race to secure Salah's services. In January, the forward will be eligible to engage in contract talks with other clubs.

Mohamed Salah has been a vital part of Liverpool since 2017. This season, the winger has netted six goals and provided five assists in ten appearances for the Merseyside club. His contract with the English team is set to expire next summer. Transfermarkt currently values the player at €55 million.
