Simeone's son scores as Atletico defeats Las Palmas in La Liga

Atletico Madrid secured a 2-0 victory over Las Palmas in their 12th La Liga fixture of the season. The match took place at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.
Goals for the home side were scored by Giuliano Simeone in the 37th minute and Alexander Sørloth in the 84th minute. Atletico's goalkeeper Jan Oblak kept a clean sheet.
The 21-year-old Giuliano Simeone is the youngest son of Atletico's head coach, Diego Simeone. Following the result, Atletico has amassed 20 points, climbing to third place in the La Liga standings. Las Palmas, with nine points, remains in 18th position.
Atletico's next La Liga match is scheduled for November 10 against Mallorca, while Las Palmas will face Rayo Vallecano on November 8.
