Szczęsny flew to Barcelona for a medical examination

Former Juventus and Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny headed to Barcelona on Monday, September 30, as reported by Marca.

According to the publication, the 34-year-old shot-stopper will undergo a medical examination upon his arrival in the Catalan capital before signing a contract with Barcelona. The club has chosen Szczęsny as a replacement for the injured Marc-André ter Stegen.

Last summer, Szczęsny announced his retirement from professional football, but he has now decided to make a comeback after receiving an offer from Barcelona.
