Tchouaméni Calls for a Less Demanding Football Calendar

Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni has urged football officials to create a more player-friendly calendar.

"I think football leaders should reunite and fix and decide a better calendar for us players," Tchouaméni told journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano.

On 20 September, Manchester City midfielder Rodri mentioned the possibility of a players' strike due to the congested schedule. Three days earlier, Real Madrid's head coach Carlo Ancelotti appealed to football officials, asking them to consider reducing the number of matches in the season due to the increasing frequency of player injuries.
