The president of Barcelona intends to acquire Haaland
Football club Barcelona is aiming to secure a contract with Norwegian forward Erling Haaland, who currently plays for Manchester City, according to Sport.es.
The source reports that Joan Laporta, the president of Barcelona, is eager to make another significant transfer during his tenure with the club. He intends to sign Haaland in either 2025 or 2026.
The Norwegian has been playing for Manchester City since 2022, with his current contract running until 2027. At present, the player's transfer value is estimated at €200 million.
This season, Haaland has played in 10 matches across all competitions, scoring 11 goals.
