There is surprise at Juventus over Pogba's statements about his desire to return to the team

Juventus is taken aback by an interview with midfielder Paul Pogba, given in the wake of a reduced sanction for a doping violation. This report comes from Tuttosport.

Previously, Pogba, whose suspension for violating anti-doping regulations was cut from four years to 18 months, expressed a desire to once again play for Juventus.

The player's interview was not coordinated with the Turin-based club. Juventus does not see Pogba as part of their future plans, thus his return to the team is deemed "practically impossible."

Pogba's contract with the Italian side is set to run until 2026. Earlier reports suggested that Juventus wishes to mutually terminate the agreement.
