Norwegian national team striker Erling Haaland has apologized to fans for the crushing defeat against Austria.
The previous day, the Norwegians suffered a 1-5 loss away to Ralph Rangnick’s team in the fourth round of Group B3 in the Nations League. Haaland started the match, played the full 90 minutes, but did not contribute any goals or assists, managing only two shots on target and providing one key pass.
The Norwegian team currently leads Group B3 in the Nations League, having accumulated seven points. In the next round, the Scandinavian side will face Slovenia away. The match is scheduled for November 14.
