"To be the man in the tie, I do not like it." Guardiola Wouldn't Want to Be a Manager Like Klop

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola responded to a question about whether he would follow a similar path to Jürgen Klopp, who was recently appointed head of football operations at Red Bull after leaving Liverpool.

"I like the green grass. To be the man in the tie, I do not like it. I would criticise my manager a lot! I can't do it. Still, I like coming here in the morning to work - I love it! This is the main reason I am a manager. I am thinking about Wolves on Sunday and the messages I have to tell them (the players), the images I have to see, the training I have to prepare. I want to beat Wolves desperately," Guardiola told Goal.

Earlier, it was announced that Jürgen Klopp had been confirmed in his new role overseeing football operations at Red Bull. In this position, the German will be responsible for the strategic direction of all three Red Bull teams and will provide input on transfer decisions.
