Trent on contract extension: "I want to be a Liverpool player this season"
Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has spoken out about extending his contract with the club.
"To be honest, the most important thing is trophies. I want to win. Victories and the pursuit of greatness motivate me greatly. This is probably the main factor. If you have a winner's mentality, you're ready to do anything for victory—this is what drives you.
I've been at the club for 20 years. I've renewed my contract four or five times, and none of them have been discussed publicly. This will be no exception. I will say this: I want to be a Liverpool player this season," Alexander-Arnold told The Athletic.
The 25-year-old defender's contract is set to expire in a year.
