Under Erik ten Hag, Manchester United has won only 1 out of their last 9 matches in European competitions
Manchester United once again failed to secure a victory in a European competition. Erik ten Hag's team played to a 1-1 draw against Twente in the opening round of the Europa League.
Out of their last nine matches in European competitions, United have managed to win only once — a narrow 1-0 victory against Copenhagen during the group stage of last season's Champions League. In addition, they have suffered five defeats and recorded three draws during this stretch.
Last season, the Manchester club played six matches in the Champions League, losing four and drawing once. In the 2022/23 season, their campaign in the Europa League ended in disappointment, as they were eliminated by Sevilla on aggregate (2-2, 0-3).
