‘Volkanovski deserves a rematch’. Topuria - after her win over Holloway

Reigning UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria commented on his victory over American Max Holloway at the tournament in Abu Dhabi (UAE).

The Spanish-Georgian fighter knocked out his opponent in the third round and defended the American promotion's title for the first time.

‘When I hit the right, I realised something was wrong with him. He started to stagger back. From the corner, I was shouted from the corner to get the takedown. I did what I had to do.

I don't want to fight anybody right now. But Volkanovski deserves a rematch,’ Topuria said after the fight.

The first fight between Topuria and Volkanovski took place in February of this year and ended with the reigning champion winning by knockout in the second round.
