Wesley Sneijder has announced plans to embark on a coaching career

Former Netherlands national team player Wesley Sneijder has revealed that he plans to start a coaching career.

«I'm only 40, I have a lot of time on my hands. I haven't actually started my coaching course yet, it's all in the planning.

I'm really going to start a coaching career. I still have some personal things that of course are getting in the way of starting», Voetbal International quoted Sneijder as saying.

Sneijder ended his playing career in 2019. As a member of the national team, he became a bronze medalist at the European Championships (2004) and World Championships (2014), as well as a silver medalist at the Mundial in South Africa (2010).
