Yamal on racist abuse during match against Real Madrid: "It means I'm playing very well"

Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has spoken out about the racist chants he faced during the 11th round La Liga match against Real Madrid, which ended 4-0.

The match took place at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, where the 17-year-old Catalan player was subjected to racial abuse from Real Madrid fans.

"In the end, I'm the one playing football and the one celebrating the goals. There's no need to worry about foolish things that fans say at away games. On the contrary, if they're saying such things, it means I'm playing very well," Yamal was quoted as saying by Marca.

In the recent encounter, the winger scored in the 77th minute, becoming the youngest goalscorer in the history of El Clásico.
