Yamal to miss matchagainst Serbia and return to Barcelona
Winger Lamine Yamal will miss the UEFA Nations League match against Serbia and return early to Barcelona for further assessment.
The Spanish national team player and Barcelona winger has been diagnosed with muscular overload in his left leg following the recent match against Denmark, which ended in a 1-0 victory. Yamal was substituted in the 93rd minute of that game.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Yamal underwent medical examinations today, which ruled out any serious injury. The discomfort he experienced was attributed to muscular overload rather than a direct impact. Consequently, he will skip the encounter with Serbia and return to Barcelona, where he will undergo additional tests.
