Form and Line-up Denmark
Denmark come into the match short of positive results and already without their old core in the squad. After a draw with Belarus (2:2) and a defeat to Scotland (2:4), the Danes beat North Macedonia (4:0), but in the play-off final they failed to hold on against Czechia (2:2) and went out on penalties. The first match of the June camp, on 3 June in Liege, was also flat - 0:0 against DR Congo. The home team had plenty of the ball, but lacked cutting edge: 12 shots and only three on target. Physically, the match was not demanding, but the performance showed that Riemer is now testing combinations: Adam Daghim made his debut, William Osula got a half, and Andreas Christensen returned after a long break and did not look error-free.

Ukraine have a rare moment of uplift after a difficult spring. In March, the national team were knocked out by Sweden in the play-off semi-final (1:3), after which Andrea Maldera took charge. The Italian made a strong start: on 31 May in Wroclaw, Ukraine beat Poland (2:0) and produced a composed first half. Both goals came after passes from Viktor Tsygankov, while Yaremchuk and Yarmolenko again gave the attack sharpness and quality in the finish. After the break, Maldera managed the workload calmly: Yarmolenko, Yaremchuk, Sudakov, Tsygankov and Romanchuk all left the pitch early. Physically, then, Ukraine arrive in Odense in decent shape: this is their second match in a week, but most of the leaders did not play the full 90 minutes.
