The Netherlands is better than their opponents in every line. Only the position of goalkeeper may be questionable. Ronald Koeman has used 5 different players in the last 12 months. This game is supposed to see 21-years old Bart Verbruggen taking this position. I believe this will be one of the reasons why we will see quite many goals, considering The Irish side will play at the best level possible.
Ireland
Ireland has failed to meet expectations in this qualifying tournament. They have beaten only Gibraltar (3:0, 4:0). They’re penultimate in the group. They never managed to perform well even against Greece (1:2, 0:2). Although, the point is that the Irish national team plays better against stronger opponents. They were even leading in the first match versus the Netherlands, but finally failed to win (1:2).

Probably it will be the last game of the Irish side with Stephen Kenny as head coach. Players want to do their best to make this game successful. This is what defender Dara O’Shea said in an interview. I think the Irish side will be active in the attacking line. They have nothing to lose, as they have no chance to qualify for the 2024 UEFA EURO.
