Beterbiev responds to questions about his willingness to fight Ukrainian Usyk

Unified world champion in the light heavyweight division, Russian boxer Artur Beterbiev, has responded to questions regarding the possibility of a boxing match against Ukrainian heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk.

On the night of October 13, Beterbiev secured a victory over fellow compatriot Dmitry Bivol by a majority decision, earning the title of undisputed world champion in the light heavyweight category.

"This is an interesting challenge, but there is a difference in weight classes. However, if an offer is made, we will consider it, react, and think about it," Beterbiev told TASS.

Beterbiev boasts an impeccable record of 21 wins in 21 professional bouts, with 20 victories coming by way of knockout. Usyk similarly maintains a flawless record, with 21 wins in 21 fights, 14 of which were by knockout.
