Dubois: "I’m ready for a Joshua rematch anytime"

BF heavyweight world champion Daniel Dubois has expressed his readiness to face fellow Briton and former WBA, WBO, IBO, and IBF titleholder Anthony Joshua in a rematch soon.

"Honestly, I'm not paying too much attention to it, but I'm hopeful that an official date for our rematch will be set shortly. He's got a lot going on in his mind already, but who knows how he'll perform this time. From my side, I'm ready to have the rematch anytime and show the world that I am the true king. Give me the opportunity, set up this big fight. If Joshua is ready, then let's do it right now," Dubois stated in an interview with BoxNation.

Daniel Dubois claimed the IBF title on 21 September by knocking out Anthony Joshua in the fifth round. The bout took place at Wembley Stadium in London.

It was earlier reported that the British boxers would hold their rematch on 22 February 2025.

The 26-year-old Dubois has won 22 fights in his career, 21 of those by knockout, and has suffered two defeats. Meanwhile, 35-year-old Joshua holds 28 victories (25 by knockout) and four losses in his professional career.
