Shimada wins short program at Junior Grand Prix in Poland
Japanese figure skater Mao Shimada took first place in the short program at the Junior Grand Prix stage in Poland, scoring 73.11 points.
Fellow Japanese skater Kaoruko Wada secured second place with 70.58 points, while South Korea's Ko Na Young finished third with 65.58 points.
Former Russian skater Sofya Shifrina placed sixth with a score of 56.73.
