Adam Williams presents his prediction for the NBA match.
The current Indiana Pacers embody the dramatic side of sport. Just this summer they fought in the final against the Oklahoma City Thunder, and now at 0-5 they are bottom of the Eastern Conference. The most worrying part is that ahead lies a meeting with the Golden State Warriors, and fans should probably brace for another defeat.
Indiana Pacers
The issue is that a wave of injuries has hit the Indiana Pacers. Right now the team are without seven key figures. Tyrese Haliburton, Obi Toppin, Bennedict Mathurin, T.J. McConnell and Andrew Nembhard are all starters. It is no surprise that they rank 25th in the league for points scored (133.3) and 22nd for points conceded (122.5).
Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors continue their tour of Eastern Conference cities. Yes, the start for the Milwaukee Bucks was far from ideal (110:120), but there is no reason to worry. In that game Stephen Curry showed he can still carry the team (27 points), and Jonathan Kuminga added 24 points and eight rebounds. They lost, but the situation remains under the full control of Steve Kerr.
Indiana Pacers vs Golden State Warriors Prediction
The Indiana Pacers’ crisis has dragged on, and we can say with confidence that fans will have to wait longer for their first regular-season win. The current Golden State Warriors are not the kind to hand gifts to outsiders.
