About author
Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming a sports journalist. In 2018, I started writing about sports for a news feed, and I have been working in betting since 2022.
I fell in love with football after Philipp Lahm’s goal against Costa Rica national football team in 2006, and with esports after LOST’s BKB play at the second The International 2. I can name AC Milan’s entire 2007 squad, and I still remember who roTk is. I closely follow niche disciplines: I know which team has the most draws in the Spanish handball league, where to find the best floorball markets, and I can name the top 10 in the badminton rankings.
In my articles, I break down betting strategies and bookmaker products, write about the importance of psychology in betting, and speak with both local and international tipsters.
I bet on football, hockey, and esports. Around 80% of my bets are on major markets, where I aim to break even. The other 20% go on player props and outright bets, where market depth has been improving year after year. I used to actively test smaller markets, but bets on things like fouls or Scandinavian handball leagues quickly led to stake limits — my personal record was being limited after my very first badminton bet. I didn’t catch the best era of small markets, and I have little interest in them now. There are enough solid options in the main markets, and I see no point in staking tiny amounts, so I shifted back to bigger markets.
In my betting content, I focus less on what to bet on and more on how to bet — helping readers avoid tilt and gambling addiction while still enjoying the process. Finding a good position in the line is easier than resisting average or high-risk bets. Discipline is the key to keeping betting sustainable and comfortable.
