Betting Tip
The players and everyone at FK Partizan Belgrade did not want to see themselves in the UEFA Conference League, but now that they are in it, reaching the league phase is the minimum acceptable result.
Sasa Ilic's team must be properly focused for the first match of this round so that they no longer have to worry about progression in the return leg. FK Partizan Belgrade have serious attacking potential. Many opponents would like to have attacking midfielder Milan Vukotic and No. 8 Ognjen Ugresic in their squad. Although they are no older than 22, they already define FK Partizan Belgrade's play. The lads are being linked with many clubs in other countries, so keeping hold of them will be extremely difficult. But while they are still in the team, they can help them get past their opponents as easily as possible.
FC UNA Strassen have established themselves among the leading sides in Luxembourg football only in recent years. Their experience is limited to six UEFA Conference League qualifying matches, two of which have come this season. FC UNA Strassen got past La Fiorita 1967 of San Marino, winning both games (1:0 at home and 2:0 away). It is also worth noting the Luxembourgers' battle with Dundee United FC in last season's competition: the Scottish team went through thanks only to two narrow 1:0 wins.
So FK Partizan Belgrade are unlikely to pull clear of FC UNA Strassen after the first match. Although the black-and-whites began the Serbian league season in high-scoring fashion, they still failed to beat FK Zemun, the tournament newcomers — 2:2. FK Partizan Belgrade's finishing often leaves plenty to be desired, so a handicap (+2) on the visitors looks quite realistic if we rely on the facts.
