Qarabağ
In 90 minutes in Gibraltar, Qarabağ scored 14 shots, compared to their opponent’s 3 and controlled the ball a lot (66% possession). The coaches of the Azerbaijan team waited for Bayramov to score the second goal without making any substitutions. The starting lineup carried out a plan and got ahead in the score. Most likely they will start with the strongest players, it’s important for them to score 1-2 goals to feel confident.
Lincoln Red Imps
Lincoln has run out of ways to turn the series around. At home, they had 2 weak shots on target and 2 corner kicks. They failed to create any attempts even taking corner kicks and free kicks. Let’s remember that the Gibraltar champions barely won in a game with Hamrun in the previous round, using all their energy in the second match, where they played with fewer players for almost all 120 minutes.
Qarabağ - Lincoln Red Imps Prediction
The first game between these teams quickly showed the difference in their skill level. It’s clear that at home Qarabağ will only strengthen their advantage, as they are clearly better.
In Azerbaijan, the fans will loudly celebrate Qarabağ moving to the next round of Champions League qualifying. The Red Imps will miss at least three goals from their opponents, who are just getting better.
