Manchester United score four goals in one half in first match after Ten Hag’s dismissal

In their first match following the dismissal of Erik ten Hag, Manchester United scored four goals in a single half. The Red Devils lead Leicester City 4-2 at halftime in their Carabao Cup Round of 16 clash at Old Trafford.
For the Red Devils, Casemiro scored twice (15th and 39th minutes), with Alejandro Garnacho (28th minute) and Bruno Fernandes (36th minute) also finding the net. Leicester responded with goals from Bilal El Hannous (33rd minute) and Conor Coady (45+3 minutes).
Manchester United sacked Erik ten Hag on October 28, appointing Ruud van Nistelrooy as interim head coach. Van Nistelrooy had been part of the 54-year-old Dutchman's coaching staff. Ruben Amorim is expected to be appointed as United's permanent manager soon.
