Portugal – France Prediction

Portugal wasted too many moments in the previous round against Slovenia. Their games against the sides from the top 10 of the FIFA ranking has usually been even more complicated. Portugal have failed to score a goal in 4 out of their last 5 European Championship games versus such opponents. However, they have conceded over 1 goal just once, keeping the clean sheet on 3 occasions.

France have been focused on their defensive game in this tournament. They have conceded only one goal, scored from the penalty spot. However, they have problems scoring goals. The side is focused on the individual skills of some players, but it doesn’t work so far. Besides, a maximum of 2 goals have been scored in 8 out of the last 10 European Championship games France have played. A maximum of 1 goal has been scored in 4 out of the last 5 European Championship head-to-head matches between the sides.

Our prediction is Under 2 at 19/20 .
