Alcaraz on Nadal's last tournament: «We want to win a title for Spain»

World number three Carlos Alcaraz of Spain has spoken out about November's Davis Cup matches, which will be the last of his career for 22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal.

«I want to approach it without any emotional expectations. We want to win the title for Spain and also for Rafa. I will give everything for my flag so that Nadal's last tournament goes the way God commands», Alcaraz told a press conference.

The Davis Cup 2024 final will be held from 19 to 24 November in Malaga, Spain.

Rafael Nadal made his debut on the ATP Tour in 2002. The Spanish tennis player has won 92 singles tournaments in his career, including 22 Grand Slam tournaments, and twice became an Olympic champion.
