Pegula withdraws from Billie Jean King Cup Final

American tennis player and world No. 6 Jessica Pegula will not participate in the Billie Jean King Cup playoffs, which will be held in Malaga from November 13 to 20, according to the tournament's press office. Ashlyn Krueger, ranked 65th in the world, will take her place on the team. The U.S. team is set to face Slovakia on November 14.

Jessica Pegula is competing in the 2024 WTA Finals, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 2 to 9. She is in the same group as Iga Świątek of Poland (ranked 2nd), Coco Gauff of the U.S. (ranked 3rd), and Barbora Krejčíková of the Czech Republic (ranked 8th). The first alternate for the tournament is Russia's Daria Kasatkina.
