Sinner equals Federer and Djokovic's ATP hard court record

Italian tennis sensation Jannik Sinner has become the third player since 1990 to reach seven or more finals on ATP hard courts over two consecutive seasons, spanning 2023 and 2024.

This exclusive group includes:

- Roger Federer (Switzerland) during 2004-2007 and 2014/2015;

- Novak Djokovic (Serbia) in 2011-2013 and 2015/2016;

- Jannik Sinner (Italy) in 2023/2024.

On Saturday, the Italian secured his place in the final of the Masters tournament in Shanghai, China, by defeating Czech Tomas Machac. In the title decider, Sinner will face the winner of the second semi-final between Serbia's Novak Djokovic and America's Taylor Fritz.
