Circus Launch: Design And Theme
🖼️ Graphics
The backdrop is deep purple space filled with stars and drifting asteroids, while in the centre, an asteroid carries a red-and-white circus tent under a protective dome. On the right sits a massive cannon decorated with stars and garlands, shooting out the chosen astronaut animal at the start of each round.
There are several characters: from a chicken and a monkey to a panda and a pig in spacesuits, each with its own outfit and launch animation, but no impact on the maths. The interface is built around the scene: on the left is the character change button, on the right a vertical block for bet control, turbo and relaunch, and at the bottom a panel with balance and multiplier history.
🎶 Sound
The audio side relies on a light background track with a touch of retro soundtrack: synth lines, soft bass and occasional impactful accents. At the start of a flight, the music stays in the background, but as the multiplier grows, extra signals and short bursts layer on top, highlighting the tense moments before a possible crash. Separate sounds cover clicks on Collect and Collect Half, the cannon shot, and a short, sharp effect when CRASH appears – together they create the feel of a circus stunt in space rather than a dry risk graph.

Game Functions And Modes
Circus Launch is built around a single shared multiplier and a single main stake, but several risk-management modes and a separate Golden Chips bonus sit on top of this core framework.
- Collect and Collect Half: at any time before the explosion, a full cashout is available via Collect or a partial one via Collect Half: half of the stake is fixed at the current multiplier, the other half keeps flying and can be taken later with an additional Collect.
- Auto Collect: in the bet menu, a target multiplier is set; once this value is reached, the game automatically triggers Collect.
- Cancel Auto Collect: a separate round button showing the current target multiplier makes it possible to disable auto collect mid-flight if there is a need to switch tactics and wait for a manual moment instead.
- Autoplay and Stop Autoplay: in the bet menu, the number of auto-played rounds with fixed bet and auto cashout settings is selected. The Stop Autoplay button shows how many rounds are left and, when pressed, ends the series if the multiplier dynamics no longer feel comfortable.
- Turbo Mode: the turbo switch speeds up multiplier growth and flight animation, making individual sessions more intense in terms of pace without changing the underlying maths.
- Character Selection: via the change button on the left of the scene, one of several astronaut animals in spacesuits is selected. Characters differ only in visuals and launch animations; they do not affect RTP, maximum multiplier or payout calculations in any way.
Golden Chip deserves a separate mention as the provider’s proprietary bonus chip. It is used across different Playtech products, from crash titles to tables and live formats. In Circus Launch, it acts as a separate staking mode:
- When Golden Chips are available, a button appears on the left, opening the bonus chip bet.
- Only one chip can be used per round, and it cannot be combined with real-money stakes.
- The chip runs on the same multipliers as a regular bet, but in the bet menu, it has its own Auto Collect with a strict lower threshold of x2.5 – up to that level, Collect and Collect Half are locked.
- After cashout, the Golden Chip’s nominal value is deducted from the win, so in practice it is an internal “free-bet chip” from Playtech: either it pays for itself through the multiplier, or it burns together with the round.
RTP, Volatility, Maximum Win
RTP — 95.99%. Volatility is not officially stated; it is reasonable to assume that it is high. The maximum win is capped at x5,000 times the stake.
Our Verdict
Circus Launch delivers the feel of a continuous attraction: short flights, sharp crashes at low multipliers and occasional higher shots when the character manages to fly far beyond cautious cashout levels. The pace of rounds is high, especially in turbo mode, and the visual focus on the cannon launch and the astronaut’s flight helps keep the action from turning into a bare number on a graph.
Collect Half and Auto Collect work more as convenient brakes than as tools for building elaborate approaches: one button allows partial locking of a good moment, the other stitches in a comfortable threshold, so there is no need to watch every single flight. The Golden Chip Bonus adds another layer of dynamics.
For those interested in crash dynamics with a more down-to-earth, fishing-style aesthetic, Big Bass Crash is a logical option, while for a different type of space flight with two bets and potentially high multipliers, JetX fits the bill.
