Le Pharaoh: Design and Theme

🖼️ Graphics

Le Pharaoh sticks to Hacksaw’s cartoon chaos — bright, angular, and faintly sarcastic. The reels sit before weathered temples glowing under a desert haze, while every symbol nods to Egypt’s trinket lore: scarabs, ankhs, hourglasses and amulets. Off to the side lurks Smokey, the raccoon in a pharaoh’s robe, muttering and celebrating in equal measure. The layout is clean — spin on the right, balance and menu on the left — no learning curve required.

🎶 Sound

The soundtrack mixes fast percussion and flute riffs that scream “Egypt”, but without turning into a cliché loop. Each win triggers a crisp jingle; during bonuses, the tempo lifts, layered with deeper drums yet never overpowering. The overall mix feels lively rather than loud — energetic enough to keep you spinning, but not distracting when Smokey starts grumbling.

Special symbols

  • Golden Square. Marks every position that took part in a win. Sticky re-drops kick in: winning symbols hold, the rest re-spin. If new matches extend the win, they stick too. When nothing new lands, the re-drops stop — but those marked squares are the ones that can reveal prizes later.

  • Rainbow. Doesn’t pay on its own. It triggers Golden Riches, turning all marked Golden Squares into special reveals — coins, clovers and pots — which then drive most of the slot’s high potential.

  • Coins (Bronze / Silver / Gold). Appear only during Golden Riches. Bronze carry x0.2–x4, Silver x5–x20, Gold x25–x500. All visible values add up and feed the final payout.

  • Clovers (Green / Golden). Green Clover multiplies the adjacent coin/pot values by x2–x20. Golden Clover multiplies every coin and pot on the board by x2–x20. These multipliers apply to the values already on show.

  • Pot of Gold. Collects every coin/pot value into one total, clears the board, and fresh reveals drop into the Golden Squares. If a new Pot appears, the collect-and-refresh cycle repeats. It ends only when no new Pots land.

  • Scatter. Three or four scatters open the bonus choice menu: with 3, you pick Luck of the Pharaoh or Lost Treasures; with 4, you unlock the Super versions of those modes.

  • Stone Tablet (Adding / Multiplying). Appears only in Lost Treasures. Adding Tablet boosts a random coin by a flat amount (e.g., +1, +10, +100, +500). Multiplying Tablet scales a random coin by x2–x20.

  • Wild (Scroll). Substitutes for paytable symbols and carries the slot’s top line win for six of a kind (x3.0).

Bonus game

  • Luck of the Pharaoh (3 Scatters). 10 free spins with Sticky Re-Drops and Golden Riches active as in the base game. Golden Squares persist for the whole bonus. Retriggers: +2 spins for 2 FS, +4 for 3 FS.

  • Lost Treasures (3 Scatters). No paytable symbols; you start with 3 lives. Only coins, clovers, Pots and Stone Tablets appear. Any spin that lands at least one active symbol resets lives; three empty spins in a row end the round.

  • Super Luck of the Pharaoh (4 Scatters). 12 free spins, juiced odds for high-value coins and Pot of Gold. Every Golden Riches activation guarantees a clover. Retriggers: +2 for 2 FS, +4 for 3 FS.

  • Super Lost Treasures (4 Scatters). Same as Lost Treasures, but your first spin guarantees an Adding Stone Tablet, and premium symbols show up more often.

  • Rainbow Over the Pyramids (5 Scatters). 12 free spins with a Rainbow on every spin, auto-triggering Golden Riches. Golden Squares never reset during the feature. Retriggers: +2 for 2 FS, +4 for 3 FS.

RTP, Volatility and Maximum Win

Le Pharaoh runs on variable RTP profiles depending on the casino build — 96.18%94.33% or 92.26%. Volatility sits at a medium (3 out of 5), unusual for a Hacksaw slot that usually leans to extremes. The theoretical ceiling is x15,000 of your bet, and reaching it immediately ends the round — any remaining spins or re-drops are cancelled once that cap is hit.

Our verdict

Le Pharaoh turns the usual Egyptian formula on its head — part treasure hunt, part cartoon mischief. The slot keeps tension alive through its Sticky Re-Drops, where wins can snowball out of nowhere. Despite the “medium” volatility tag, dry spells do happen, so it’s a game for those who don’t mind a bit of suspense between hits.

What really sells it is Smokey the raccoon himself — grumbling, smirking, and celebrating every win like it’s stolen gold. The slot has that rare mix of humour and unpredictability that makes each round feel slightly unhinged, in the best way possible.

If you’d like to stay under the same Egyptian sun, we’d recommend Legacy of Dead for a purer “book” setup, or Sun of Egypt 3 for a glowing hold-and-win twist.
